Step 1: Pick your colours and design
The fun begins! You can choose any colour combination and style. We can pour over most existing surfaces or build new.

Step 2: Consultations & Estimates
This is where the creativity flows!
Trained in tons of techniques and with multiple sample boards, we'll collaborate to get the look you've always wanted. We also offer a matte finish. From mild to wild, the sky's the limit!
An estimate can be provided based off your sent project measurements and pictures. This is a very easy way to receive project costs without leaving your home.
Step 3: Creation
Moving forward, we will make a sample board of your design for approval. Either we will be on-site creating the organic design or poured at our shop and then deliver for installation.
Step 4: In the mix
New builds are made on site. Good quality MDF is best for epoxy projects. Everything is taped off and protected with plastic. We always pour two coats. One design coat followed by a clear coat the next day.Â
If pouring over existing counter, it must be prepared first to make the best epoxy bond.
If the desired look is with a backsplash, Gemstar custom builds, pour both coats before installation. Then we pour the clear coat over the counter making the whole project seamless. You'll never need caulking. That means no maintenance!
Step 5: Final product
From start to finish is a maximum of 5 days. It is Important to put something under anything you put on your counter until it's fully cured. Before long you can enjoy your new custom epoxy design. You will have an original, one of a kind piece of art!
